ESI Monitor develop partnership with Geneva based ESG experts BST Impact

ESI Monitor Ltd is excited to report a major alliance with Geneva-based BST Impact, headed by senior human rights lawyer Kristina Touzenis. Kristina was previously head of the law unit at the UN Agency for Migration, a unit she set up and led from 2011 to 2020.

BST Impact was set up by Kristina and her senior partners to help businesses effectively operationalise ESG criteria and the Business and Human Rights agenda into their strategy. Working with BST Impact, ESI Monitor Ltd clients have access to world-class social and governance expertise, while ESI Monitor compliments services available to BST Impact’s clients internationally, due to our expertise in environmental sustainability.

The consultants at ESI Monitor also join a new international expert panel developed by BST Impact to provide enhanced ESG advice, guidance, research, and reviews for investors and investment managers.

Kristina Touzenis Managing Director Kristina Touzenis is a lawyer and a recognized leader in the effective and concrete operationalisation of international human rights standards and principles in complex settings worldwide, requiring long-term engagement with a multitude of stakeholders, from both the public and private sectors. She has more than 20 years of experience in advocacy, human rights reporting, monitoring, and evaluating, as well as in policy making and negotiating at a national, regional, and global level.

Silvia Scozia Silvia Scozia has over seven years of experience working in policy-making and legal research on national and international law issues, both in the private and public sectors. She has worked as a British Red Cross Research Fellow in Cambridge (UK), as a Legal Associate at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Advisory Service on International Humanitarian Law, and as a Counsel to the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain at the law firm Palacio & Asociados in Madrid.

Giulia Biselli Giulia Biselli, Co-Founding Partner at BST Impact, brings several years of experience working with different stakeholders from both the public and private sector, across a range of sectors, in diverse regions across the world. She started her career working on external relations for private companies in Italy and China, and has served different Italian governmental and military entities as an analyst and as part of diplomatic delegations.
